People promise that if you do these exercises, you will completely restore your vision with myopia. This is both true and false. Why? Sometimes vision deteriorates, but this is not myopia. It's just a muscle spasm or weakness. In this case, active regular eye exercises can really restore vision.
When does eye gymnastics help?
In true myopia, the eye deviates and the image is focused at a certain distance rather than on the retina. That's why everything is blurred in the distance and the eye sees well up close. This is myopia or myopia - every third student suffers in the 11th grade. Exercise alone may not be enough to prevent vision problems. All children should visit the eye care room once a year.
Gymnastics for the eyes will improve cell nutrition, strengthen eye muscles and subjectively improve vision. But of course, exercises will not round it from a stretched eye. By working the muscles, they can bring your image a little closer to the retina, that is, the nerve cells.

Where to start gymnastics for the eyes?
To prepare our eyes for the working day, I recommend starting eye exercises with morning exercises. Getting out of bed early after the alarm is never recommended.
Why? Because we are comfortable when we sleep. And it is necessary to enter a new regime for the body, gradually.
What should be done?

What is this for?
Any muscle training improves nutrition and blood supply to cells, any cells. When a cell is properly nourished, its functions naturally improve. We train all the muscle groups that surround our eyeballs.
The fact is that in ordinary life, when we need to look somewhere, for example, up, we simply look up. If we need to look to the left, we turn our head, but do not squint.
That's why our muscles get a little weaker over time. What doesn't work doesn't work!
How to exercise eye muscles?
We do each exercise 6-8 times.
- 1. We hold our head straight and make up and down eye movements with maximum amplitude to a slight tension. At the same time, it is important to maintain a smile, posture and good mood. We blink often.
- 2. We try to look at the left and right ear. The rest is the same - we do it for a little muscle tension, remember about the posture. We often end up blinking.
- 3. Draw a butterfly with a view in sequence: from top to bottom, diagonally, from top to bottom, diagonally. Then we change the direction: from bottom to top, diagonally, etc. This is how our oblique eye muscles are trained. They blinked.
- 4. Draw a large vertical figure eight and reverse the direction. Then we "put" these eight to the side and get the infinity sign. And we pull it in both directions. He blinked. We blink often.
- 5. Draw a big circle with the eyes. This exercise can be done at any time. It is undesirable to do this only when your eyes are tired. No need for extra eye strain! We blink often.
During the exercises, we necessarily connect the psycho-emotional state - we try to feel that there is love inside us, we take care of our eyes. We should still be in a very good mood, then the effectiveness of our training will only increase.
"Convergence" exercise
This exercise is also very useful - here we train the inner muscles of the eye. They are very important for providing visual functions.
How do we do it?
Very simple. We look at the tip of the nose and look forward. Everything will double in front of you, and that's okay. We also note that in front, with double vision, vision improves, acuity increases. He blinked.
An analogue of this exercise can be such a home simulator: take a strip of cardboard (about 20 cm) and draw circles of different colors at a distance of 1. 5 cm. Connect them together.
How to work with such a simulator?
If you or your child wears glasses, this exercise can be done without them, as nearsighted people can see well up close. You put it on your nose, look at the distant circle, count to three, look at the closer circle, etc. to the last circle and back. You do this several times.
Please note that there will be a little double in your eyes. We do it to reduce tension. We often end up blinking.
Palming exercise
Another very important exercise is Palming. You can find it in Chinese medicine, in many oriental destinations. It's a bit meditative. This is a relaxation exercise. It should be done more often.
You sit at the table, rub your palms together to keep them warm and pass. Make a triangle between them. Make the palms of your hands and place them over your eyes, elbows on the table. We do not bend our neck, we close our eyes under the palms. The light should not pass through the hands.
Focus on the center of the palm and imagine some color.
What is the best color to represent? The most perfect is black. It looks like you are painting the whole area black.
Why? Because at this point you can see the grays, some sparkles, etc. You can also imagine blue and green colors. These are relaxing colors. You can represent the sea or the forest. Most importantly, you should be clear at this point. This is very difficult to do. To achieve this, focus on your breathing: breathe in - cool, breathe out - hot.
How often should "Palming" be done?
It is ideal to do this every half hour for two minutes, near any visual load. I'm not talking about television. That is, you should do it quite often. Don't let your muscles overstretch. If you do it right, you will immediately notice that your eyes are relaxed and the world around you is brighter.

In no case should you bend down when reading and writing!
Each person has their own distance from the eye to the written surface. This is the "jamon distance" - from the elbow to the tip of the fingers touching the temporal region. This is the ideal distance for the eyes. As soon as you start to bend, your muscle is overloaded. Moreover, the speed of the load on this muscle increases exponentially.
I always give this example when I teach the "Cognition School" to children: when you sit correctly, it's like walking down the street. But if you bend even a little, it's like putting 50 kg, that is, a bag of potatoes, on your shoulder. This is the load that our ciliary muscle experiences.
So, under no circumstances, under no circumstances should you slouch down while reading or writing. This is a basic visual habit!
If you're on a computer, phone, tablet, whatever, please post a picture somewhere far away. It should be fairly small, but you should be able to see it well.
For example, it can be a calendar with numbers that you need to see, or any emotional picture that you want to look at. When working at close range, you look at this picture for 5-10 seconds every 15-20 minutes.
Thus, if you read, read, write, sit on the computer for an hour, you should look into the distance 4 times and hold your palm 2 times. These are true visual habits.

Why? Because far-sighted people continue to see better than they see too well. But if your vision does not deteriorate, does not fall, is this not the result? I think this is a very good result.
How to understand - there is a result or a result? There is a very simple way to do this. This is called "setting another point of clear vision. "It is measured once a month, it is not necessary to measure every week. It is determined for each eye separately, without correction, that is, without glasses, under the same conditions. The result should be recorded somewhere.
You take the small text. This can be, for example, an annotation to drugs or any other finely written text. And the text you use is always the same. Cover one eye with your palm, move the text into the distance when you can't see it. And slowly you begin to approach.
When you bring the sheet close enough to see, you need to determine the distance from the lower orbital bone (under the eye) to the text - this will be your clearest point of vision.
If your clearer vision remains the same from month to month, your vision is not deteriorating. If it increases by 1 or 2 centimeters, then your vision subjectively improves. However, if your closest point of vision is rapidly approaching, you are doing something wrong and you should definitely contact an ophthalmologist! This will prompt you to do so.
What does the result depend on?
